Recycling & Waste Collection

Harborough District Council empty refuse bins and recycling containers on Friday mornings.
Every week recycling material is collected:
Blue box: Newspapers, junk mail, catalogues, directories
Green box: Glass bottles & jars (rinsed), metal, food tins, drinks cans, aerosols & foil trays.
Brown food waste bin: Food waste, cooked & uncooked, bread, pasta, egg shells, bones. Wrapped in newspaper if desired.

Alternate weeks for black wheelie bins (non recyclable waste) and green wheelie bins (Garden cuttings, cardboard, dead flowers)

Recycling at Arnesby Village Hall:
Plastic bottles & used domestic batteries in separate bins.
